How did you decide on your baby's name? #BlogFrog #spon

Deciding on a baby name for most people can be a daunting task. Especially if both parents can't agree on a name! I remember as a child, teen, and even into my twenties I had a few names that I wanted to name my children. Maybe that is just something girls do. My husband didn't have any names that he had chosen earlier in life but did have a few names of his own that he really liked.

So fast forward a few years, we were pregnant and trying to decide on a girl name. Since I already had a few names in my head I gave him the good old trusted baby names book and told him to pick out at least three names he really liked. Once he choose some names we discuss them all and came to the conclusion of Ellianna Rose (Elli for short). This was one of my names which was a character in a movie and I really liked the name. I guess it runs in the family since I was named after the blonde character on the tv show "Chips". Rose was picked for a couple of reasons one it is my favorite flower and is the flower of the patron saint St. Theresa, and is a family name on my husbands side.

Now that Ellianna has made her entrance into the world we were in need of birth announcements. Cardstore.com made this purchase very simple and did not consume too much of my time. The process was so simple that it took less than twenty minutes for me to complete and I would say that a good fifteen of those minutes were spent deciding on which pattern/card I wanted. Here is a picture of what the final project looked like....
